Itinerary

Day 01 :
Arrival in Kohima

Morning: Arrive in Kohima, the capital city of Nagaland. If you're traveling from Dimapur, the journey takes approximately 3–4 hours by road.

Afternoon: Check into your accommodation. Spend the afternoon exploring local attractions such as the WWII Cemetery and the Kohima Cathedral.

Evening: Prepare for the trek by organizing necessary supplies and ensuring your gear is ready.

Day 02 :
Kohima to Viswema Village; Trek to Dzukou Valley

Early Morning: Drive to Viswema Village, located about 20 km from Kohima.

Morning to Afternoon: Begin your trek from Viswema. The trail takes you through lush forests and steep ascents, leading to the picturesque Dzukou Valley. The trek typically takes 4–5 hours.

Evening: Set up camp in the valley and enjoy the serene environment.

Day 03 :
Exploration of Dzukou Valley

Morning: Wake up to breathtaking views. Spend the day exploring the valley's meadows, streams, and unique flora, including the rare Dzukou Lily.

Afternoon: For the more adventurous, consider a hike to nearby viewpoints offering panoramic vistas of the valley.

Evening: Relax by the campsite, perhaps sharing stories with fellow trekkers.

Day 04 :
Return Trek to Viswema Village; Departure

Morning: Begin your descent back to Viswema Village.

Afternoon: Upon reaching the village, drive back to Kohima or proceed directly to Dimapur for your onward journey.
