Day 1: Guwahati –Shillong;
Arrive Guwahati airport and meet our representative and transfer to Shillong. Enroute visit Umuim Lake where you can enjoy speed boat (optional). After that transfer to Shillong. At Shillong visit Wards Lake, Golf course and Police Bazar. Overnight stay at Shillong
Day 2: Shillong – Cherrapunji (60 kms/ 2 hrs)
Post breakfast at around 8 clock drive to visit Elephant Waterfalls about 12 kms from Shillong. After that drive to Cherrapunji. Enroute stop at Mawdock valley where you can do zip inning and Wah kaba Waterfalls for breathtaking view. After that drive to Cherrapunji about 15 kms and visit Garden of caves, Nohkaiklai falls, seven sisters falls, Arwah caves and Mawsmai Caves. After that drive to Hotel and overnight stay at Cherrapunjee.
Day 3: Double Decker living root Bridge
Post breakfast drive to trekking point about 15 kms from hotel. Begin your trek to the Jingkieng Nongriatdouble decker root bridge.The journey is not difficult, but it does require some time and effort. You can also hike up to Rainbow Falls at your own pace. The trek will last 5 to 6.5 hours in total. Return back to hotel. Overnightnight at Cherrapunjee
Day 4: Cherrapunjee- Mawllynnong Village – Dawki-Shillong
After breakfast drive to visit Mawlynnong Viilage the cleanest village in India (about 90 Km 2 Hrs) this cute and colorful little village is known for its cleanliness. At Mawllynnong Villaage visit Single Decker living Root Bridge and balancing rock another strange natural phonomena. After that about 20 kms from Mawllynnong Village Visit Umgot River (Known as Crystel Clear Water where you can enjoy boat ride) after that visit India-Bangladesh Border. After that drive to Shillong
Day 5: Shillong –Mawphlang Sacred Forest- Laitlum Canyon– Shillong
After breakfast drive to visit Mawphlang Sacred Grove. It is one of the biggest Sacred Groves in Meghalaya.It is a well-preserved forest by the local community. Nothing can be taken out from the forest as this is being protected by the local deities.
After that drive to visit Laitlum grand Canyon approx. 40 kms from Sacred forest.
Perched in the East Khasi Hills of Shillong, Laitlum Canyons is a little-explored haunt of the mountainous state of Meghalaya. Laitlum translates to ‘end of hills’ and this sublimely beautiful hilltop appears to be true to its name. At Laitlum, all one can see are breathtaking gorges and steep winding stairways that snake their way down to the lush valley.
Day 6: Departure from Guwahati airport
Post breakfast drive to Guwahati airport for onward Journeys. Enroute visit Kamalhya temple and ropeway at Guwahati
