Day 1: Transfer to Gangtok

Meet and greet by our representative on arrival who will help you to board your vehicle and  transfer to Gangtok – Nearly 135 kilometers 4 ½ – 5 hours drive – Check into hotel – Evening free to roam around – Over Night stay at Gangtok

Day 2: Full Day Gangtok tour

After having a sound sleep, it’s time for you to welcome the other day with sheer excitement. Post your plentiful breakfast head for a Gangtok tour, Today’s day is full of sightseeing and fun. The places that are to be covered include-

Ganesh Tok – Sprawling over steep slopes and hills, It is the highest point of Gangtok (6500 ft approx.), hence provides a magnificently beautiful view of the capital city and its neighbours.Tashi View Point – This viewpoint lets your eyes encounter the exotic beauty of snowcapped Mt. Kanchenjunga and nearby valleys. Ropeway &Banjhakri Falls – A place worth visiting, the waterfall is the most famous place among the tourists. With opportunities for adventure activities such as ropeway, boating, etc., Banjhakri Falls is a pleasant site with breathtaking views.Directorate of Handicraft and Handloom – Established in 1957; the place aims at preserving the art and craft of the people of Gangtok. In this era where modernisation is the trend, this place keeps you connected with your roots. Handcrafted folding tables, hand painted masques, paintings, shawls, etc., are a few of the things that you get here.Enchey Monastery – A 200 years old monastery, Enchey Monastery is one of the most significant monasteries in Sikkim. DoDrulChortenStupa – The stupa is located on a hillock near the Institute of Tibetology. It is surrounded by 108 prayer wheels, each having mantras inscribed on them.Flower Show – Blessed with a vast variety of flora, Gangtok is a paradise for flower lovers and so is the Ridge Park. The colorful flowers and lush green plants over here are a treat to one’s eyes.Institute of Tibetology – The library here has one of the most extensive collections of Tibetan literature. It is a wonderful place and thus deserves your visit.

Lastly, Gangtok is famous for the great north-eastern delicacies. Do try the food at local restaurants. Now you might be exhausted, so it’s time to return to the hotel and get some peaceful sleep.

Day 3: Transfer to Lachen from Gangtok

Early morning breakfast – Drive 135 kilometers, 5 – 6 hours drive – enroute visit Seven Sister waterfalls and Chungthang confluence. On arrival at Lachen check into a hotel – Overnight stay at Hotel in Lachen

Day 4: Excursion to Gurudongmar

Early morning breakfast – Visit to Gurudongmar Lake 55 kilometers, 2 ½ – 3 ½ hours drive – A valley at an altitude of 11, 800 feet, generally covered with snow from December to April or even more is known as the Holy / Sacred Lake –

Chopta Valley and Thanguare the other 2 beautiful valley you will see.

Back to hotel for lunch – After lunch proceed to Lachung – Nearly 50 kilometers and two hours drive – Check into hotel at Lachung – Overnight stay at Hotel at Lachung

Day 5: SIGHT SEEING AT YUMTHANG & TRANSFER TO GANGTOK

After breakfast drive towards Yumthang valley situated at an elevation of nearly 11800 feet – Yumthang is a valley surrounded by mountains – In spring the valley erupts in riots of colors as Primulae, Rhododendrons and many other Alpine flowers in full bloom – During winter the snow clad mountains add the ethereal beauty –

Return to resort at Lachung for Lunch – Transfer to Gangtok – Reach Gangtok in the evening – Check into hotel – Night stay at Gangtok

Day 6: EXCURSION TO TSOMGO LAKE & BABA MANDIR (FULL DAY)

Morning breakfast at hotel  Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir nearly 40 kilometers – The Lake is oval shaped lake nearly 50 feet deep – Generally covered in snow for most of the year the year – Nearby is the sacred Baba Mandir known to be a very holy site for all. Back to Gangtok – Evening free to roam around M G Road (Mall) or local Shopping center – Over Night stay at Gangtok

(Incase of Landslide or due to any other reasons if Tshangu Lake is closed then an alternate sightseeing will be provided)

Day 7: TRANSFER TO AIRPORT / RAILWAY STATION

Gangtokto NJP/Bagdogra Airport – Morning After breakfast transfer to NJP / Bagdogra Airport Nearly 130 kilometers 4hours drive – Guest are advised to start early and not to rush – Forwarding Journey.
