Daywise Itinerary

Day 01 :
Guwahati to Shillong & half day Shillong Sightseeing

Arrival at Guwahati airport and proceed to Shillong (Approx 3hrs drive) En route visit Umiam Lake where you can enjoy speed boat riding then proceed to Don Bosco Museum, Wards Lake and overnight

Day 02 :
Transfer to Jowai and sightseeing

The morning after breakfast, proceed for a day excursion trip to Jowai, eastern Meghalaya - Jaintia Hills. Explore the Krang Suri falls. Also, enjoy your route which is very beautiful & scenic.
Afternoon drives back to Shillong via Laitlum- Laitlum canyon is one of the beautiful destinations with its green lush hills and experiencing life above the clouds. Overnight stay at Shillong.

Day 03 :
Transfer to Cherrapunji & Sightseeing

Morning: 8 am or earlier after breakfast transfer to Cherrapunjee. Enroute visit Elephant waterfalls and Mawdock valley. Reach Cherrapunjee and Nohkailikai Falls (world’s fourth highest) Mawsmai Cave, Waterfalls - Nohsngithiang Falls. Arrive & Check in to the hotel. Overnight

Day 04 :
Cherrapunji – Mawllynnong 3hr drive – 3 hrs drive to Dawki – to Shillong

After breakfast in hotel out for sightseeing-
After breakfast drive to Mawlynnong, a picturesque village located in East Khasi Hills along the India-Bangladesh border is the cleanest village in Asia by Discover India magazine in 2003, the modestly existing Mawlynnong has Alternatively been known as Gods own garden too. It is situated 90 kms (Around 03 Hrs drive) from Shillong and besides the picturesque village, offers many interesting sights such as the living root bridge and another strange natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another rock. They mostly grow betel nuts. About 82 households live in Mawlynnong, Keeping the surrounding environment clean is an age-old tradition.
Then you will visit Dawki and river Umgnot (boating on actuals), with pictures of crystal clear waters and visit India Bangladesh Border. After that drive to Shillong approx. 3 hrs. Overnight stay

Day 05 :
Transfer to Kaziranga National Park

Post breakfast Proceed towards Kaziranga. Enroute visit Mahamritanjay Temple. In the evening, you can enjoy Orchid Park for a cultural program in Kohora.Overnight Stay at K aziranga National Park.
Kaziranaga National Park covering an area of 430 sq-km, is inhabited by the world's largest population of one-horned rhinoceroses, as well as many mammals, including tigers, elephants, panthers, and bears, and thousands of birds. In 1985, it was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO for its unique natural environment.

Day 06 :
Kaziranga National Park

After an early wake-up, we will take you to the riding point for Kaziranga Elephant Safari in the Western Range. Watch the famous One-Horn Rhino in the jungle from stone throwing distance. After the elephant safari, return to the Resort.
After lunch, drive to Kaziranga Central Range for the Kaziranga Jeep Safari. The Central zone of the Kaziranga National Park is the prime zone for eco-tourism in the Kaziranga forest. The entry gate to the central zone is situated just about two km from the National Highway passing through the village of Kohora. The Kaziranga Jungle Safari offers you some spectacular sightings of the Rhinos grazing or wallowing in the large grassland, a herd of elephants with adorable baby elephants to big old elephants in the herd, and many other species of the wild flora and fauna of this tourism zone.Overnight stay at Kaziranga National Park.

Day 07 :
Kaziranga National Park to Nameri National Park

Post breakfast transfer to Nameri National Park. Enroute visit some sightseeing at Tezpur. Overnight Stay.

Day 08 :
Nameri NP-Bhalukpong-Bomdila-Dirang

Dirang (5120 Ft / 1560 Mts)
Early in the morning go Natural trail inside the park. Return back to Hotel and enjoy breakfast and pack your luggage all set to drive Dirang. Before that enroute near Bhalukpong enjoy river rafting at Jia Bhorli River. En route at Tipi visit Orchid Center (Blooming time is from end March till May). Overnight

Day 09 :
Dirang Sightseeing

After breakfast drive to visit Mandala top at Dirang (early morning preferred as it is a site for bird watching as well) approx. 40 kms/ 2 hrs.). After that return to Dirang and drive to Sangti valley (12 kms/ 1 hrs) and walk around the valley. After that, drive to Chug village located in a serene alpine valley flanked by a patchwork of woodland and meadow where silence is broken only by the gurgle of a nearby river, the maw of grazing cattle and the bluster of the wind. After that drive back to Dirang and stop for a stroll in the market. Overnight

Day 10 :
Dirang to Tawang

Tawang (10000 Ft / 3048 Mts)
After breakfast, proceed to Tawang – the land of Monpa Tribes and major centre of the Mahayana Buddhists. On the way to Tawang lies the world’s second highest pass – Se la Pass (13700ft) which run through a small ridge & along a lake called Se la Lake. And visit Jaswantgarh - a memorial to the brave soldier who single handedly tried to hold of approaching Chinese during the 1962 Chinese aggression. Upon arrive check in to hotel. Overnight

Day 11 :
Tawang- Bumla-Pass (India-China Border) - PTSO Lake -Madhuri Lake- Nagula Lake- Tawang (A day excursion)

Post breakfast boost up for the visit to Bumla Pass (India – China Border) and PTSO
Lake. Afternoon return back to Tawang and visit War memorial and Tawang Monastery. O vernight
It is 38km (2.5 hrs) away from Tawang and is situated on the Indo-China border at 15200ft above sea level. Apart from giving you a sneak- Peek of its history of IndoSino War, it givesyou a panoramic view to enduring for a lifetime. Here you experience the blend of two nations and its culture. It is an Army restricted area so you need to take appropriate permissions so that you enjoy your trip with any hassle.
Enroute, we visit several beautiful lakes including magnificent Madhuri Lake (Sangetsar Lake) and Pangateng Lake Madhuri Lake and Nagula Lake the prime attraction of our Tawang Tour. By evening return to Tawang and relax for the night in your hotel.

our vehicles are not allowed to do PTSOLake, Madhuri Lake & Bumla Pass Sightseeing and Nagula Lake
Local car will be provided for the same. We have no control on this local vehicle which may be a combination of Non AC Tat Sumo/Xylo etc.

Day 12 :
Tawang Sightseeing

Tawang Tawang (10000 Ft / 3048 Mts)
After enjoying breakfast at hotel enjoy local sightseeing around Tawang - The beautiful land of the Monpa tribes with the “GALDEN NAMGYEL LHATSE” Monastery. It is 400 years old (17th century) Tawang Monastery, which is the second largest monastery in the world after Potala Palace in Tibet. The building is about 113 feet long and 80 feet wide and houses valuable antiquities, books and manuscripts-handwritten and printed. Later visit Tawang War Memorial, a 40 foot high multi-hued memorial, has a structure constructed in stupa design. Dedicated to the martyrs of Sino-Indo War held in 1962, this memorial is nestled among beautiful peaks, which overlooks the Tawang-Chu valley. ‘The Land of Dawn-lit Mountains’ at 3500 mts gives you unparallel purity of nature. Rest of the day enjoy at leisure & stroll round the streets of the town. Overnight Stay

Day 13 :
Tawang - Bomdila

Today an early breakfast visit Urgelling Gompa - birthplace of 6thDalai Lama and Nunnery and after that drive to Bomdila. Enroute visit Jung Waterfalls. Continue to drive Bomdila. Overnight Stay
It is a small town which is the headquarters of the West Kameng district. Set among the mighty Himalayas at analtitude of 2530m above sea level it gives the most pictures que view. The sight of the snow-clad mountains, the landscape from the highest point and the Nechipu Pass is just enchanting and indescribable.In the evening, return back to hotel and rela x for the night.

Day 14 :
Bomdila- Guwahati (280 KMS/ 6-8 HRS)

Post breakfast drive to Guwahati via Shergaon enjoying the beautiful surrounding. Sher gaon budding destination and the hub of various agricultural products like Apple, Kiwi. enroute visit India-Bhutan Border. The whole journey will take around 6 - 8 hrs.Depending on weather and road conditions. Overnight

Day 15 :
Departure

Early in the morning visit Kamakhya Temple visit Umananda Temple on midst of Brahmaputra, Guwahati Ropeway overlooking the Brahmaputra river and after that drive to Guwahati airport for onward destination

Ø Please Note that Kamakhya Temple always has a rush which takes almost 5-6 hrs in a general Que. So it is Suggestible to take a VIP Entry ticket which costs @Rs. 501 /- Per Person which you can buy online also.
Ø Entry tickets are all regulated and controlled by the Kamakhya Board where we do not have any control on the booking of entry tickets.
